Civil Ceremonies at Palazzo Pretorio

The imposing Palazzo Pretorio built in the 12th century is located at the top of the medieval town and dominates the typical small streets paved with bricks and the whole valley. The façade and the open courtyard are all decorated with the picturesque stone and terracotta coats-of-arm, symbols of rank of the different Vicari - the most beautiful being the items by Della Robbia school - and the inside walls are adorned with frescoes from the 15th centuries.
