Greve
is the chief town of Chianti, lying in a landscape which is considered one

place for the surrounding castles, villages and farmhouses, the square is
today the commercial centre of Greve with picturesque wine and food
shops and home of the largest wine fair, held here every September.
At the Southern apex of the square is
the lovely Church of Santa Croce which houses some beautiful
