Whether you are looking for a Protestant ceremony with legal validity, a Protestant religious blessing after holding a civil ceremony at home or a Protestant vow renewal ceremony, we can arrange it all for you. We can coordinate either a Protestant Minister or Pastor to perform an outdoor religious ceremony, perhaps in a beautiful garden, a hilltop villa or a historic castle in Tuscany. Alternatively we can arrange the ceremony in one of Florence’s two wonderful Protestant churches of St. Mark’s and St. James.
In addition to the traditional service that includes a congregational welcome, the giving away of the bride and the declaration of consent, the ceremony may also include favorite scriptural readings chosen by the couple, a Unity candle ceremony or personal responses for the exchange of vows and rings.
After the nuptial blessing of the newly married couple, the signing of legal documents or religious parchment closes the ceremony.
Though planning a Protestant wedding is relatively simple, the process must be started well in advance. We will assist you in every step of organizing the legal documents for a Legal Protestant Ceremony, starting at least six months before the wedding day. We will also put you in direct contact with your chosen Church and Minister in Tuscany, asthey require you to call or email them personally.
If you are civilly married in your own country beforehand the legal procedure is much simpler, though you will need to present your civil marriage certificate.
We have extensive knowledge of the most beautiful, grand churches, intimate country chapels, historic villas, Medieval castles, panoramic gardens and luxurious hotels with vineyards immersed in olive groves among the rolling hills of Tuscany.
For your Protestant wedding in Italy we will:
- Provide you with the contact of the Pastor or Minster and the Church in Tuscany
- Be present at the wedding ceremony to coordinate the event
- Provide extra wedding services such as music and flowers
